Friends of Identity are coming to the rescue through our Recovery Registry! 

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much to those who have lifted our spirits and softened the blow since a fire broke out in the basement of Identity’s iconic “Pink House.” Quick action saved the building, but it will take months to be able to occupy it again. Most importantly, we are so thankful that no one was hurt and all programs are continuing without interruption.

Still, we suffered some structural damage and the contents of the building - which houses our finance, human resources, information technology, evaluation, data management, development and communications functions - were either damaged or destroyed.  In addition, all of our recreation program equipment was destroyed.

People have asked how they can help. Now we have an answer! We have created a simple fire recovery gift registry through Amazon.

If you prefer an alternative to our Amazon gift registry, we will gratefully accept donations through our website or by check to 415 East Diamond Ave., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.  You may indicate “fire recovery” in the additional comments section in either case.
