We are writing to invite you to 350 Chicago's action hour to support the State Divestment Campaign. We will meet on Tuesday, September 12th at 7 PM via Zoom to write Letters to the Editor (LTE's) or to our state representatives. ?
During the action hour, we will teach people how to write the LTE's and to their legislators. We will also provide scripts for calling elected officials. Once prepped, attendees will get started writing their letters or call their officials during office hours on Wednesday the 13th. ?We will reunite at the end of the hour for a debrief. You can complete a letter in less than a 1/2 hour!
Through the action hour, we seek to garner more support from the public and the Illinois state government for our campaign and hopefully get HB3037 passed next spring! ?
