Tusla’s Child Safeguarding Statement Compliance Unit (CSSCU) would like to invite youth organisations to attend this information session

Hello John,

Children First Awareness Week is taking place from 25th – 29th September 2023. To mark this week, we will be holding an Information Session in association with Tusla's Child Safeguarding Statement Compliance Unit to share information on their upcoming Youth Consultation Project ([link removed]) , and how youth work organisations can get involved.

When: Thursday 28th September
Where: Online
Register here to attend >> ([link removed])
The insights and information provided by young people will be hugely valuable, such as in
* Assessing how familiar young people currently are with Child Safeguarding Statements and how well they understand them
* Determining how all relevant services can ensure young people are aware of and fully understand the purpose of a Child Safeguarding Statement
* Informing any potential resources or supports that could be developed to aid relevant services with this awareness-raising

Keep an eye on our newsletter and website to see what other exciting things we have planned to promote Children First!

Kind regards,

Siobhán
