Church Action on Poverty

Dear John,

As we all know, poverty is a persistent and multifaceted issue that affects far too many people across the UK!

Its impact doesn’t just make it difficult to eat and pay bills, but also affects things like education, healthcare, and overall quality of life. However, by coming together to challenge social injustices, we can make a difference.

Could you get involved with Challenge Poverty Week?

Challenge Poverty Week, taking place between the 16 to the 22 of October, is an opportunity to speak out on issues affecting the people you know, your communities, and further.

There are lots of ways to get involved as an individual, church, group or organisation. Download our toolkit for ideas and examples of what you could do to challenge poverty this October.

We’ve also released our social media assets for you to download and use leading up to, and during the week.

If you’d like to learn more, or have any questions. We have some free workshops next week that you can sign up for. During the sessions, we’ll explain in more detail what Challenge Poverty Week is, what activities you can do to get involved, and there will be networking opportunities too.
