NYC Climate Week!
This is not just another protest...

Peoples' Climate Week is a counter-space to mainstream NYC Climate Week events where movements advance a Peoples' Agenda to interrupt and disrupt the promotion of false solutions to climate change and other crises, such as often advanced by corporate, governmental, and big NGO actors in NYC Climate Week fora, the UN Ambitions Summit, and UN Conferences of Parties.

Remember, the power to make a difference lies within each of us.

Join us : [link removed] and be part of the movement that will shape a sustainable and just future for all. Let's march together for a fossil-free world!

While the Biden administration continues to greenlight mega-polluting fossil fuel projects, we are mobilizing around the summit to leverage as much national and international pressure as possible to force Biden to change course. This is a critical moment for mass mobilization on fossil fuels that could move Biden before 2024. Are you in : [link removed]? Learn more at endfossilfuels.us : [link removed].

On September 17th, we will hold the March to End Fossil Fuels : [link removed] in New York City calling on President Biden to stop fossil fuel expansion and extraction. The march will take place ahead of the UN Climate Ambition Summit – a first-of-its-kind meeting hosted by the United Nations Secretary-General (UNSG) Antonio Guterres, who is asking heads of state to come with concrete steps to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

New School Events at Climate Week

IEN is co-sponsoring a two-day event at The New School in NYC filled with educational panels, breakout sessions, a teach-in assembly and even a movement social! Listen to the stories of frontline warriors holding the line against #FalseSolutions and how they're implementing a #JustTransition in their communities.

Committed to amplifying diverse voices, The New School offers more than a thousand public programs and events each year, providing fresh perspectives and unique learning opportunities. These lectures, exhibitions, concerts, and performances feature prominent and emerging artists, activists, and thought leaders.
