Friend,
When you enlist to serve your country in the military, you know exactly what
you are signing up for.
It’s a life of two extremes: The extreme pride and honor you feel to be able
to serve the nation that has given you so much. But there is also the extreme
of what could be, the uncertainty of what’s to come and the underlying fear
about what could happen.
But that comes with the territory.
You see, I’ve lived my entire life with two principles at my core: Service
and sacrifice.
These are the words that inspired me to join the military, the words that
motivated as a small business owner, the words that ground me as a husband &
father andthe words that will guide my tenure in the United States Senate.

I’m not running for Senate because it’s easy, I’m running for Senate because
our nation is desperate for a new generation of leadership that will put
service above self, and someone who is willing to sacrifice their own interests
for the good of those that they serve.
Thank you,
