In 2018, I won a landmark election and flipped Pennsylvania’s 7th District from red to blue, after more than 20 years of being held by a Republican. It was no easy task, but we won because we had a strong grassroots team.
I’m going to be very honest with you, friend. Our 2020 election is going to be even harder than the one in 2018.
One of my Republican opponents is a multi-millionaire who has already poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into her own campaign. She has pledged that she’ll continue to do so. And she’s not the only one challenging me.

We know this is gearing up to be one of the most competitive races in the country. Cook Political Report recently changed the rating on our race, putting us just one step away from a pure toss-up.
Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is in just a few days. We can still win in November, but it’s going to take resources.
