Almost a month ago, 15 brave Texas Congress member wrote this letter urging their colleagues to withhold funding from DHS unless the following were agreed upon:

1. Strong border security legislation was passed,
2. Policy adoption giving law enforcement and/or the military the necessary tools to target dangerous cartels, 
3. The removal of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas from office for failure to do his job, and
4. Federal reimbursement of $10 billion to Texas for Operation Lonestar and related border security efforts – since the state was forced to step up to address the crisis due to the absence of action by the federal government.

Tony Gonzales’ record of past behavior is plenty of proof that no mountain will move him to represent his constituents or the American people. 

I helped in the censure of Rep. Gonzales by the Republican Party of Texas because I believe elected officials should be accountable when they do not deliver on their promises to the American people. 

In this resolution there are 7 distinct actions where Rep. Gonzales took the position that was in opposition to securing our border OR prioritized foreigners over citizens!
