Hey John,

You’re invited to Tera Hurst’s campaign kick-off party this Saturday! Tera is a true climate champion and OLCV’s first official endorsement of 2020. We hope you’ll join us in kicking off her campaign this Saturday!

Tera’s Campaign Kick-Off Party
Date: Saturday, February 29th, 2020
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Location: VIDA, 401 NE 19th Ave. Portland, OR 97232, second floor

Tera’s kick-off party will be a fun night of community, dancing, and celebration. Come hear why Tera is running for Portland City Council (Position 2), partake in light food and beverages, mingle with fellow activists and community members, and enjoy a DJ-accompanied dance party! Friends and family are also invited to join. RSVP today!

OLCV is thrilled to endorse Tera for so many reasons. As the Executive Director of Renew Oregon for the past three years, Tera has helped foster a powerful grassroots movement for climate action, bringing people together from across the state in support of bold climate action.

As a single mom, Tera is passionate about making Portland a better place for her son, prioritizing solutions to the climate crisis, creating more affordable housing, and building more supportive communities. She’s a climate champion who embodies hope, inclusion, and compassion in all she does, and we couldn’t be more proud to endorse her for Portland City Council, Position 2.

Even if you can’t make it to this Saturday’s kick-off party, you can still support Tera’s campaign for a better Portland. Tera is running a truly grassroots campaign and isn’t accepting donations from big corporations. Right now, she’s only 36 donors away from the 250 donors she needs to qualify for Portland’s public financing. Can you donate $5, $25, or $50 to help get Tera’s campaign started?

Portland needs candidates like Tera standing up for what’s right. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Tera’s campaign and all that she stands for--a better future, a stronger community, and a healthier climate for all of Portland’s people.

Hope to see you Saturday,
Lindsey Scholten
Political Director, OLCV

Staying in touch via the Oregon League of Conservation Voters’ email list is the best way we have of keeping in regular contact with supporters like you and letting you know about the ways you can take action to protect the environment. You can unsubscribe from our supporter list, but if you leave, it will be harder for you to stay involved with OLCV and continue the work that you’ve been such a critical part of. OLCV wins environmental policy fights and elections because of dedicated activists like you, and we’d hate to see you go.
