By 2050, an estimated 70% of the world's population will reside in high-density urban environments. This dramatic shift could result in heightened pollution, stress, and challenges in accessing quality food and opportunities for physical activity. At the same time, these urban areas generate vast amounts of data that, if properly analyzed, can offer valuable insights to aid urban health planning and policy development. Join
Foreign Policy and Novartis Foundation during the 78th United Nations General Assembly for a conversation on data, technology and urban population health. Inspired by the AI4HealthyCities Initiative and the Data Collaborative on Health System Performance, this event will explore how artificial intelligence can help cities to better understand, monitor, and respond to social determinants of health, paving the way for greater health equity.
