The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition about a 1864 law that would jail doctors and ban virtually all abortions.

Abortions are already banned after 15 weeks in Arizona. Women are being forced to travel out of state and spend thousands of dollars to get the medical care they need. And this could just be the start.
If this archaic law is implemented, it would be devastating for our state.
This ban was written and passed 55 years before women won the right to vote. Now, 150 years later, it could be determining the most private medical decisions they make.
Kirsten is unapologetically pro-choice. Politicians shouldn't be inserting themselves into the intimate decisions made by a woman with her doctor, full stop. It's a violation of our most basic rights.
