Over the last couple of weeks, we have been taking a moment to celebrate the Innocence Project's birthday and reflect on 31 years of advocating for the innocent — and it just reminded me how special this community is.

Whether you’re brand new to the innocence movement or you’ve been on board since day one, every single person in this community has helped this team get to where we are today. It’s because of your generous support that the Innocence Project has been able to free or exonerate more than 245 people and pass more than 200 transformative state and federal laws — that’s something we should all be deeply proud of.

Working to make our criminal legal system more just and equitable certainly comes with its challenges, but knowing that we have you and this entire community of support right by our side gives us so much strength.

So again, thank you so much for all of your support.
