The 2023 fall semester is officially back in session! New and returning students in our College Access program are guided through the semester by our team of College Counselors. In preparation for the upcoming college application season, the team is hosting a series of Personal Insight Questions workshops this month to help students write essays that really shine a light on their unique qualities.

Our College Success team is hosting a seminar to help students maintain a healthy mindset and build positive stress-relieving techniques. These tools are vital in helping students start the school year with a bank of coping strategies, as stress is sure to ramp up. We are here to champion our students, both in their educational ambitions and overall college journey.

Fulfillment Fund Student Ambassadors

We are excited to announce our Fulfillment Fund Student Ambassadors! Participating high school students will help broadcast insight from college visits and share more information about how Fulfillment Fund assists students through the college application and financial application process. Student Ambassadors help engage other students while supporting the school’s college going culture.

The Career Spotlight Series

As part of our initiative to bridge the gap between graduation and obtaining a career position, our College Success team is hosting our first Career Spotlight webinar series, beginning September 27th. This is a great opportunity for our students to engage with career professionals and garner a deeper understanding into different job choices.

Our New Home

As we continue to stay focused on the best ways to serve our students, it’s important to have a space where we can collaborate more efficiently and be in closer proximity to the communities we serve. After 18 years at the Wilshire Blvd. office, we are now proud to call 1150 S. Olive Street in Downtown Los Angeles our new home. We look forward to welcoming students and supporters to our new space soon!

It’s almost time for students to begin their college applications and our College Access team has worked continuously throughout the summer to prepare our senior cohort. With our Ready for College Summer Institute, and consistent support from our team, Fulfillment Fund seniors are set to take the next step to complete college and financial aid applications.
