Friends,
With fall around the corner, I thought I’d share a little about what harvesting honey from the Himes Hives is like.
I bet you never thought it’d be a sticky experience! Okay, okay, maybe you did...but I bet you didn’t know that it involves a heat gun or a fine-toothed comb. Take a look:

You don’t have to live in CT-04 to have honey, but I can say from experience that it tastes better knowing this honey was made from all over CT-04 thanks to the bees!
Bees play a huge role in our environment – from pollinating plants that make up our diets to sustaining ecosystems that countless species rely on, and their efforts are vital for maintaining biodiversity, supporting agriculture, and even mitigating climate change.
We’ve got to keep up the fight against climate change, Friend, and with the 2024 elections around the corner, we’ve got to do all we can to stop climate-denying extremists from keeping their grip on the House. Chip in now so we can fight to flip the House in 2024 >>> [[link removed]]
And bees are just a small part of why it’s so important to do all we can to fight against climate change and make our communities more sustainable, and resilient.
*Bee* in touch soon!
— Jim
