John,
My friend and colleague Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky is in a tough race against Mitch McConnell’s protege, and Election Day less than two months away. I wanted to make sure you were up to speed on the latest:
- This race has been competitive from the start. Governor Beshear won by less than 0.35% in 2019, and Politico has called the race "dramatically close” this year.
- Governor Beshear’s GOP opponent and the three super PACs propping him up have announced or spent nearly $10 MILLION on TV ads to try to buy this race.
- Governor Beshear’s opponent was just endorsed by Brian Kemp, the GOP governor of Georgia. That means out-of-state dollars will keep pouring into Kentucky to fund dishonest attack ads.
Governor Beshear’s leadership has helped produce the highest revenue surplus in Kentucky history, created more and better-paying jobs for Kentuckians, funded schools, and expanded health care.
Kentucky is moving forward, but as the only Democratic incumbent running for re-election this year, Governor Beshear has a massive target on his back. We have an obligation to help him hold the line and defend our shared values.
John, if you can, split a contribution between my campaign and Governor Beshear’s campaign right now to help him win this governor's race and protect Kentucky's progress.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
