Dear Friend,

Artist. Designer. CEO.

Meet 12-year-old Mallory – the visionary force behind People Pops Land, a captivating toy company that brings joy to countless children through its enchanting blind bag popsicle toys.

Mallory's journey commenced at the Los Angeles Urban League Biz Institute, where she immersed herself in the world of business education. This experience not only equipped her with vital skills but also ignited her passion for turning imaginative ideas into tangible realities.  With a solid foundation in planning, analysis, and real-world application, Mallory channeled her creativity and determination to build her own empire.

But Mallory's story transcends entrepreneurship. Her boundless creativity has led her into the realm of storytelling. Presently crafting her inaugural comic book and adding final touches to the second edition of her coloring book, Mallory continually pushes her artistic boundaries.

In a time where uplifting young Black entrepreneurs is crucial, Mallory stands as a beacon of hope. Recent statistics underscore the urgency: a staggering 90% of the current rise in unemployment disproportionately impacts Black Americans. Mallory's journey, supported by the National Urban League's mission, exemplifies the potential for change and the impact of equitable opportunities.

Your generous contribution today will transcend financial support; it will catalyze the dismantling of systemic barriers burdening Black communities for far too long.

By extending life-changing opportunities, we empower individuals like Mallory to realize their full potential, contributing to a broader shift toward a fairer society.

At the core of the National Urban League's mission lies a commitment to combatting inequities and fostering change one person at a time. Through united efforts, we strive to reshape narratives, erase boundaries, and provide pathways leading to shared prosperity. Mallory's success story embodies this transformative influence – breaking barriers for herself while illuminating the lives of others.  Mallory's spirit of giving is truly awe-inspiring.

Alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits, she pays forward the gift of mentorship by providing autographed copies of her coloring book to children battling cancer. Her compassion radiates, exemplifying the unity within our community.

You hold the key to unlocking potential and driving change for another young individual like Mallory. Don't miss this opportunity for transformation. Our collective strength lies in our actions, each gift becoming a ripple shaping a more inclusive and promising future.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to justice, equity, and the advancement of our community. Together, we overcome obstacles and weave a tapestry of inclusivity that benefits everyone. With Mallory's inspiring journey as our guide, let's continue to create a brighter tomorrow.

With gratitude,

Marc H. Morial
President and Chief Executive Officer
