If you missed it yesterday, Ben’s bill, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors
Protection Act, came to the floor and Democrats filibustered it.As the debate
unfolded, Dick Durbin tried to hide what the Born-Alive Bill is about — but Ben
was absolutely not having it.

What followed was an incredible exchange with Dick Durbin where Ben called him
out for spreading Planned Parenthood's blatant lies about a simple pro-baby,
anti-infanticide bill. More than that, Ben put a spotlight on politicians who
try to defend the indefensible.

 

Ben's bill simply says that if a baby survives an abortion, she's entitled to
medical care. But Durbin and others refused to acknowledge the facts and tried
to hide the truth.

 

But what Durbin and Planned Parenthood don’t want Americans to know is that we
know from data that some babies do survive abortions. We know that federal law
doesn't protect them and some clinics simply don’t give these babies medical
care — they just leave them to die.

 

Ben absolutely demolished Durbin’s dishonest argument,

and exposed the Democrats for what they are: so in the tank for Planned
Parenthood that they cannot even agree that babies who have already been born
should be allowed to live.
