Dallas Sees Increase in Prostitution, Sex Trafficking |
|
|
|
There are two main reasons for Dallas’s rising crime: our city doesn’t have enough police officers, and the ones we have aren’t allowed to do their job. DPD is underfunded, and on top of that, when police departments are under threat of being defunded by Left-wing officials, the officers make fewer stops and arrests which allows crime to flourish. |
Dallas needs 1,000 more officers to keep up with the rising tide of crime in our city, especially crimes like sex trafficking that destroy countless lives. Help us hold the city council responsible to their constituents. Contact your council member and tell them to provide funding for DPD to go from 3,000 to 4,000 officers ASAP! |

Dallas Nonprofit Provides Free Mobile Showers for Homeless |
Dallas needs to provide a central location for homeless services. Right now, services and programs are spread across the city which allows them to be taken advantage of by vagrants who have no desire to get off the street at the expense of those who truly need help. Centralize homeless services and crack down on illegal vagrancy! Read more...

Armored Car Guard Fatally Shot During Robbery in Dallas |
The consequences of DPD’s officer shortage are fatal for many Dallas residents. There have been a string of murders involving security guards this year and it is certainly related to Dallas’s lack of cops. Fewer officers are patrolling to deter crime, and response times are astronomically high when crime happens. Dallas's per capita crime is up while per capita police funding is down! And it shows. South Central Dallas Logs Alarming Police Response Times |
Response times are up everywhere in Dallas, but nowhere is worse than DPD’s South Central Patrol Division. The city aims for police to respond to top-priority calls in 8 minutes, but the average across the city is over 11 minutes. However, in South Dallas, it takes a jaw-dropping 13.8 minutes for police to arrive. The shortage of officers in DPD places Dallas residents in danger! Read more...

Each week the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas photo-documenting and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the city of these locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving the community a first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas. In this episode, we tour the government-sponsored slums on LBJ and Coit Rd. Watch here. |

District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's "Pile-Of-Trash Camp" |
We named this camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 “Pile-of-Trash Camp.” If you think you recognize this camp, you probably do! We have featured this disgusting camp before, but it has grown to nearly double the size. Camps like this prove that most vagrants don't want help. Being down on your luck doesn't require you to live on a pile of trash! |

District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno's
"Pillow Camp" |
This camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2 has been dubbed “Pillow Camp.” You would think that someone suffering from involuntary homelessness would be in a shelter or out working! Instead, vagrants like this one sleep all day on public property, only waking up from time to time to ruin your commute by panhandling on the corner! |

District 7 Councilman Adam Bazaldua's
"Lawn Chair Camp" |
This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has earned the title “Lawn Chair Camp.” Vagrants in other parts of Dallas sleep on the ground or on piles of trash, but vagrancy is a comfy way of life in South Dallas. Vagrants in Bazaldua's district find a nice shady spot to sit and loiter on vacant lots while they wait for charities to bring them free food! |

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
