In this newsletter: Pittsburgh is preparing to fund a disparity study to determine how it can legally consider race in contracting and other areas to shield itself from legal attacks after the Supreme Court's decision to ban race-based affirmative action in higher education. 

Also, some higher ed institutions in the Pittsburgh area have developed programming and support systems to counter sexual violence on campus in response to recent state requirements. Some colleges have codified and amplified existing procedures.
