Local Convention Working Group |

Do you want to get more involved with the Chapter and don't know how?
Are you organized and detailed-oriented? Do you like creating programs and schedules?
Be part of the Local Convention planning group!
Local Conventions are the "highest deliberative body of the Local to amend its structure and decide the political priorities of the Local between Local Conventions".
A lot of planning and work goes into planning a Local Convention and it takes a village to make this happen.
Meetings every Thursday at 6pm via Zoom. |

Mutual Aid Committee >> Bi-Weekly Distribution |
|
Monday, September 04, 2023 5:30-7pm, and Join the Mutual Aid Committee for our next Mutual Aid Monday meal & supply distribution! We meet at the corner of 10th & I st. at Cesar Chavez Park. Come find out what we're all about and how you can get involved! We have a variety of ways for you to help out in person. Ongoing donations needed: tents (the larger, the better), sunscreen, tarps, bug spray/wipes, gently used clean/new bedding, gently used clothing & shoes for all adult sizes & genders, clean socks, underwear (all sizes & genders--especially larger sizes), deodorant, dry shampoo, baby powder (travel-sized please), self-defense tools, menstrual products, lotion, hair care products for all types of hair, floss, dog supplies, and more. We also go out to encampments from time to time and could always use help if that better fits your availability/capacity. Can't make it out to distributions but want to support? Open Seats! City Boards and Commissions |

Operation Socialist Takeover is a full go! We are looking for people to join local commissions and boards for the city and the county of Sacramento. These boards meet regularly with elected leadership to give opinion and can have HUGE impact on local issues. Application process is very easy and free! (See the attached link).
If you need any help, please feel free to reach out to Teddy on slack or via email at [email protected]. Obligations vary depending on the board, but typically range from meeting every week to once a month and sometimes every quarter. We can work to find you the right spot.
