DEAR MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS,

Join us virtually or in-person to advance a strategic vision for climate
and environmental justice at the PEOPLES’ CLIMATE WEEK [3] launch and
teach-in on September 18 and 19 at THE NEW SCHOOL [2]! Frontline leaders
from Nigeria to Brazil and Turtle Island are building a movement for Just
Transition solutions grounded in decolonization, grassroots feminism,
Indigenous sovereignty, the defense of human rights, and climate
reparations.

This Peoples’ Climate Week is an intervention led by Indigenous, Black,
Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Arab, and South Asian organizers to
disrupt the promotion of false solutions by corporate, governmental, and
big green NGOs at the simultaneously-held Climate Week NYC and United
Nations Climate Ambition Summit.

With our members and partners, we will be presenting a Peoples’ Agenda of
real alternatives to deceptive and dangerous schemes like hydrogen
pipelines, climate geoengineering and techno-fixes, liquified natural gas,
and carbon markets and offsets.

QUERIDES MIEMBROS Y PARTIDARIES,

Naciones Unidas, llevadas a cabo simultáneamente.
