We didn’t want to have to write this email.  But the truth is we have been out-raised, not once, but twice, in the last two fundraising reporting periods.  According to the San Luis Obispo Tribune, our opponent

      “…has had a strong showing of financial support since he listed in tax documents to challenge the two-term Democratic Party incumbent Carbajal in August. In fact, the outspoken conservative’s campaign out-raised Carbajal in the last two consecutive reporting periods…”

If this trend continues, we could have quite a race in our hands in November.  And we don’t need to tell you, if we lose our race, we could lose the Democratic majority in the House.

We can’t afford to take anything for granted.  We need your support today.
