A blockade on Military promotions like Tuberville’s is unprecedented in American history.

It is an insult to the men and women serving our country.

And it is a gift to our adversaries.

We all expect authoritarian regimes around the world to do whatever they can to undermine our Democracy and our National Security. But we would never expect an elected member of the U.S. Senate to willingly do this much damage to our Military, with his entire party standing by — or even outright supporting it.
