Friend --

A hurricane in Southern California. Flooding in Vermont. A month of days over 110º in Arizona. Hazardous air along the entire East Coast. A terrible, deadly wildfire in Hawaii.

Summer 2023 will go down in history as the season when the climate crisis hit home in the U.S.

We've already passed the largest climate action in U.S. history, but we need to do more. Sign on to help me put climate change at the top of the Senate's agenda.

Here in New York, our farmers were devastated by an unprecedented May frost that killed their crops -- which came after an April with record high temperatures.

This extreme, unpredictable climate chaos is a threat to all Americans. This summer proved it: Nowhere is safe from this crisis. Instead, we're all in this together, and we have to act like it.

We know the solution to the climate crisis: Stop burning fossil fuels and transition to cheap, clean renewable energy. We have the technology, and thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, the U.S. is surging ahead in our progress. But we need to do even more to keep fighting the climate crisis.

Sign your name to demand more bold climate action from Congress. We can't afford another summer like this, and we need a major grassroots effort to get it done.

Onward,

Chuck Schumer
