This is no joke: Scott Baugh really said that "wokism" is worse than 9/11, the Civil War, and both World Wars. It's outrageous that anyone would disparage the memory of victims of terrorist attacks and the millions of soldiers and civilians who lost their lives – let alone someone vying for public office.

We must reject Baugh's extremist, hateful comments. Rush in a donation to help elect Dave, a dedicated public servant who tirelessly fights to uplift everyone in our communities: [[link removed]]DONATE $10 [[link removed]]

With the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks just days away, this morning we learned that Republican Scott Baugh recently stated that “woke-ism” is the greatest threat we’ve faced as a nation, including 9/11, both world wars, and the Civil War.

It's an understatement to say these comments are despicable. You might expect to hear such outrageous, extremist views from a Q-Anon chat room, not someone vying for a seat in Congress.

We know that Baugh’s comments do not reflect the values of Orange County. That’s why we need an immediate, strong response to tell Scott Baugh this behavior is not fit for elected office. Pitch in to help me fight back and give CA-47 a real voice in Congress → [[link removed]]If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.

September 11, 2001 was a defining moment for all Americans. Coming out of law school not long after the attacks, I felt compelled to fight for fundamental American values. From there I began my career at the Securities and Exchange Commission prosecuting financial crimes, and in my time as a State Senator I have consistently stood up for veterans and servicemembers.

It’s appalling that someone seeking to represent our communities would display such clear contempt for our military veterans and for protecting the safety and security of the American people.

Scott Baugh’s extremist views have no place in Orange County, and certainly no place in Congress. Please, pitch in right away to help me keep this seat blue and ensure CA-47 has a dedicated, principled leader fighting for them. [[link removed]]DONATE $10 [[link removed]]
