Friends,

It’s official: The Republican Party chairman here in the Virgin Islands just announced they are recruiting a GOP candidate to run against me next year.

This means that I could have a new GOP opponent very soon — and whoever they are, they will be hand-picked and completely funded by the Republican Party.

I know Donald Trump and his allies would love nothing more than to kick me out of Congress by funding nasty attacks and an opponent to run against me. It could get ugly very quickly.

That’s why I need your help to prepare our defenses and make sure we have the resources for a competitive election. So, will you please rush in a donation to my defense fund today? [[link removed]]

The last thing we need right now is a Republican representing the Virgin Islands in Congress.
