It seems like every day we hear news about another tragic mass shooting. It’s something that always hits close to home for me and Gabby.

And like I’ve said in the past, it would be absolutely nuts to do nothing about gun violence. After the Uvalde shooting in 2022, we took steps together to address gun violence in a bipartisan way in Congress. I’m proud of that.

And last week, President Biden announced that his administration would work to close loopholes that make it easier for dangerous individuals to get these weapons without background checks.

This is a long time coming, but it’s incredibly important. And it will make our communities safer.

But you can bet we’ll start seeing more attacks from the gun lobby now. So, we’re asking you to do something small, but powerful.
