Effective October 1, 2023, the fee to purchase a UD-10 Michigan Traffic Crash Report will increase to $15.00.  The cost of a crash report has remained unchanged since the inception of the Traffic Crash Purchasing System (TCPS) website in 2005, and the current fee has not been sufficient in supporting the system.  This increase was approved as part of the FY 2023-24 executive budget recommendation.

TCPS will continue to provide the convenience to involved parties, and their representatives, to obtain crash reports online and follow the Driver Privacy Protection Act and Freedom of Information standards to ensure the purchase of crash data is secure.
