Next week, the House returns from recess. Usually, when recess ends and members return to Washington, they get to work advocating for their districts, taking their constituents’ voices with them to the halls of Congress.
But this year, the Republican-led House has failed to do much of anything. And we have no reason to think that post-recess we’ll see anything different.
