"Republican block leaves major branch of US military without a confirmed leader for first time in over a century"
In response to the Pentagon policy that helps servicemembers access reproductive care, Republicans in the Senate are holding up hundreds of military nominations and promotions.
Because of the Republican blockade, multiple military branches are without Senate-confirmed leaders for the first time in history. That's dangerous, John.
Chris has always believed that the American people have a sacred bond with our servicemembers. We owe it to them to ensure they have strong, stable leadership. That starts in the Senate.
Blocking the confirmation of our military officers over political disagreements puts America at risk. We must stop politicizing our military before any more damage is done and show bipartisan support for the servicemembers who put their lives on the line.
If you believe it's time for Republicans to stop holding up servicemembers' promotions, join Chris in demanding an end to this reckless effort >> [link removed]
