Friend,

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend, got some rest, and spent quality time with friends and family.

Labor Day was intended to appreciate the working women and men in our workforce, honor the labor movement and the role it has played in the social and economic achievements of our Nation. Many Californians have better working conditions, wages, and healthcare benefits because of the hard work of our labor champions.

This weekend, my team and I stood in solidarity with UNITE Here Local 11, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, SEIU, and the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition.

But as we honored the gains we've made, it weighed heavy on me that we still have a long way to go. And it's one of the biggest motivators for why I am running for Congress. The PRO Act will make it easier for workers to join a union.

Will you join me and add your name as a supporter of the PRO Act?

Anthony

P.S.

The Match my Miles Challenge is still going!  I hope you’ve used the challenge and the weekend and we’re inspired to get in some exercise. I got three rides in.

Help me stay healthy and reach my goal of cycling at least 500 miles by the end of session while also raising funds for my campaign.  I am trying very hard to stay healthy during this busy time.

And I want to also challenge you to think about your health and encourage you to get active with me! Sign up to sponsor a day, or a week and I will match your dollars in miles to get to my goal 500.

1 day = $5

2 days = $10

3 days = $15

5 days $25

1 week = $50

2 weeks = $100

3 weeks = $250

4 weeks = $500

Will you sponsor to match my miles? Every contribution makes a tremendous impact!
