John,
URGENT: This vote may happen today! It might be happening right now!
It’s been a hot summer for the Labor movement!
Hollywood writers and actors and the United Auto Workers are on strike, while UPS workers gained contract concessions without having to strike.
But it’s an uphill battle, especially with companies such as Starbucks and Amazon facing hundreds of charges of illegal union busting practices against their fledgling unions.
This is why Republicans in Congress are seeking to delay or prevent the re-confirmation of National Labor Relations Board member Gwynne Wilcox: without a quorum, the Board’s hands are tied, and corporate malfeasance goes unchecked.
This is not the time to sideline the NLRB! Send a message to the U.S. Senate urging them to quickly re-confirm Gwynne Wilcox to the Board!
We need an active and effective National Labor Relations Board to ensure a level playing field, and to protect workers from illegal firings, harassment, and bad faith failure to negotiate.
The labor movement is facing off against some of the biggest and most powerful corporations in America. These corporations have the deep pocket resources to wield overwhelming advantages in unchecked labor disputes.
This is why we need the NLRB to hold corporations accountable and to ensure that workers have every legal recourse to organize without facing threats, retaliation, and harassment.
Click here to sign and send your direct message calling on the Senate to confirm President Biden's nominee, Gwynne Wilcox, to the National Labor Relations Board now.
Thank you for helping keep the labor movement moving forward at these crucial moments!
