John -- My name is Jeanna Repass, and I’m the Chair of the Kansas Democratic Party. 

Today, I want to explain the direction I’ve been taking the Kansas Democratic Party, and I’m going to ask for your support on this journey of protecting abortion access, standing up for public education, and making Kansas a better state for all 2.9 million residents.

If you don’t have time to read my whole plan, I want to make a quick ask: our state party is supported in large part by grassroots donors. $15, $35, or whatever you’re able to give can go a long way to building our party infrastructure and electing Democrats up and down the ticket. Could you chip in any amount to support Kansas Dems today?

John, let me be clear: Kansas has been a tough state to elect Democrats, and that’s why we’re so often overlooked.

Though this state can be tough, our party is much tougher.

For a place that’s “unwinnable”, we sure have had quite a few impressive wins, including: 

1️⃣Electing and re-electing Governors Kathleen Sebelius and Laura Kelly, proving Democrats can win statewide in Kansas.

2️⃣Electing and re-electing Rep. Sharice Davids, giving Kansans' a true representative voice in D.C.

3️⃣Defending abortion rights in Kansas by 2022's ballot measure, ensuring Kansas doesn’t move backwards

John -- I’ve got a simple plan for the next 14 months as State Party Chair:

We must invest in our party infrastructure, locally and statewide, in order to achieve even more success.

In 2024, we have to break the legislative supermajorities running on a pro-worker, pro-choice, and pro-public schools agenda. I want Kansas Dems to build up our local parties, support our candidates and electeds and ensure all Kansans are aware of the extremism of people like Kris Kobach and Senate President Ty Masterson.

We need to form a large grassroots coalition of donors and supporters in order to accomplish this straightforward and ambitious agenda.

To be honest John, I’m relying on your support. Even just $35 would go a long way to build up our party and sustain our successes this cycle. I’m asking you personally -- would you chip in whatever you can to support the Kansas Democratic Party?
