First things first, AYD represented by yours truly took first prize at the annual Labor Day Chili Cook-Off. That's not all, our fellow AYD member and Democratic nominee for County Board Maureen Coffey, who was represented by AYDs Meg & Jamey Flores, took second prize as well as the people's choice. It's a clean sweep from the Arlington Young Democrats taking 3 of the 4 prizes.
But making slay chili is not only what AYDs are known for, we're also award-winning campaigners and canvassers. Everyone all across the commonwealth knows that AYD is one of the powerhouse VAYD chapters. We have a reputation for showing up and doing the work over and over again. And we need your help to keep it going.
This Saturday, September 9th, we'll be at Prince William County [[link removed]] with VAYD to canvass for Danica Roem & VA Dems. If you're interested in joining us this Saturday, please sign up before the end of today! And next Saturday, September 16th, we're headed back to Loudoun for Russet Perry, Marty Martinez, & VA Dems.

Come out as we join VAYD for their first Campaign Invasion for Danica Roem out in Prince William County! On Saturday, September 9th, we'll be heading over to Prince William County to support Danica Roem (SD 30) and the rest of the VA Dems down the ballot. We’ll meet up at 9:00am to carpool out by 9:10am in order to arrive in PWC to canvass from 10am-1pm. We should arrive back in Arlington around 2pm. Meet-up location will be provided upon sign up via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox!
