Friend –
We’re writing to ask you to contribute for the first time.

We know you see a lot of fundraising asks from us – and we know that it might get annoying after a while – but here’s why we keep asking:

1. We have to win this race. Doug is in a great position to win, and we have big plans to keep building out this campaign. But hiring people and buying supplies takes money. Will you chip in to help make sure we have enough flyers in the campaign office? [secure.actblue.com/donate/doug-2020?refcode=em_nd_022620

2. Doug is leading the field. For three straight reporting cycles, Doug has raised more than all of his opponents combined. We have to keep showing the strength of the campaign, and that means engaging grassroots donors. Can you make your first contribution of $5 so we can text 50 more voters? Each text costs a dime, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive so far. [secure.actblue.com/donate/doug-2020?refcode=em_nd_022620]

3. The attacks will be nonstop. Earlier this month, a right-wing dark money group spent half a million dollars in only a few days with ads attacking Doug. That’s just the beginning – and we have to be able to keep spreading Doug’s positive message to counter the attacks. They’re flooding the airwaves and social media. $5 lets us reach hundreds more voters, person to person, on social media and respond to their attacks. Chip in now >>

Anything you are able to give will be a tremendous help. We are grateful for you – and we can’t wait to make history together in November.
