Thanks to Lauren’s work on the landmark Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare is negotiating lower prices on 10 common - and costly - medications.

As a result, 342,000 seniors in Illinois will soon save on prescriptions that treat or prevent conditions including heart disease, blood clots, autoimmune diseases, blood cancers and diabetes.

We’re so proud of Lauren for her tireless work on this bill and all of the work she’s doing in Congress to lower health care costs for working families.

This is a huge win for Americans across the country and these savings are just the beginning. But the stakes to protect our hard work are high.

Republicans are actively working to undermine our progress toward lowering costs, creating good-paying jobs, reclaiming reproductive rights and making our communities safer — we need everyone putting in whatever amount of support they can to keep us moving forward.
