Dear Friend,
Around the world, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder are on the rise. The increase in climate change disasters and violent conflicts in places like Ukraine and Sudan has resulted in more people experiencing trauma from losing their homes and loved ones.
Sadly, for every person who gets help, countless others endure their pain alone. Too many people are struggling to recover in isolation.
That's why Project HOPE and our partners on the ground provide critical emotional and psychological aid to survivors of disaster and displacement -- as well as the dedicated health workers who care for them. But we can't do this work alone. We rely on compassionate people like you to make all our mental and medical care programs possible -- so please make your gift to support all our lifesaving work today.

Here's just a few examples of how and where your generosity can help survivors of war, gender-based violence and natural disasters heal from the wounds that we can't always see:
==============================
THERAPY FOR UKRAINIANS
Olga is a refugee and psychologist at a Project HOPE-supported safe space in Poland. She shared how she was able to help a 6-year old boy. "He was not speaking at all. He experienced the explosions, the shelling, he saw the tanks moving around the city." With therapy, he began communicating and expressing himself again. His mother told Olga, "He's back... he can sleep." Your gift today can support people like Olga and the children she helps.

SAFE SPACES IN TRKIYE
"We're seeing children who have gone mute, who are wetting the bed or enduring separation anxiety," says Rawan Hamedeh, Project HOPE's Program Officer. Six months after catastrophic earthquakes, our local partners are providing group therapy, case management and safe spaces for children. Your gift can help more people heal. Donate Now >

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN IN SUDAN
The conflict that erupted in Sudan this year is taking a huge toll. Shaza Mohamed, Executive Director of our local partner, NADA, reported, "We have seen an uptick in sexual violence targeting women and girls. Our team is working around the clock to reach as many people as possible as they grapple with gender-based violence... People desperately need healthy ways to cope." Your gift today can help more survivors of violence.

When tragedies strike and all seems lost, survivors need help -- both physical and emotional. By delivering medicines, equipment, care and other support, you can provide healing and HOPE for a better future across the world. That's the power of your generosity. Please make a compassionate gift to support all our lifesaving work today.
Thank you,
