With its stolen supermajority, the GOP-controlled NC General Assembly is overriding vetoes on laws that would protect transgender youth. Just in this most recent session, they:
* BANNING doctors from providing gender-affirming care
* BANNING trans girls and women from playing women’s sports
* BANNING elementary school teachers from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation
And they have made it clear, these far-right bigots are just getting started.
