Did you see these commercials during the debate?
During last night’s Democratic Primary debate while progressive champions like Bernie Sanders fought for Medicare for All, the anti-Medicare for All lobbying group, Partnership for America’s Health Care Future (PAHCF), spent millions running deceptive ads.
But they’re not just spending big money on tv and digital ads, they’re donating millions to candidates to influence our democracy and buy votes. But we’re saying enough is enough.
Our politicians must choose a side. The fact is: being a champion for health care reform means rejecting dirty money from lobbying groups like the PAHCF. Period.
Pharma and insurance money is corrupting our political system and blocking the single-payer health care system we need. But together we can stop the flow of funds by making the political cost of accepting their dirty money greater than any campaign contribution.
PAHCF is the #1 dark money lobbying group against health care reform funded by big pharma and insurance executives who want to protect the billions in profit they receive each year from our illnesses. Any politician that accepts money from them risks being complicit in a corrupt system and cannot be trusted to put the interests of patients first.
Let’s get to work.
