The people of Minnesota have been under assault by those they entrusted to serve them.
We have seen this year a Legislature willing to subvert the Constitution and pass laws that deny citizens protection from the Government.
Removing existing laws that protect our children from those seeking to harm them, or empowering predators in statutory language. You’ve seen this issue with Student Resource Officers and locales pulling out of schools. What’s worse Democrats blocked language singling out pedophilia in our state law, and are letting criminal offenders out 50% early, violent and sexual predators included.
Continually state agencies have no regard for the rights of Minnesotans.
The latest example is in Roseau County. Landowners that did not wish to sell their land for new duck ponds will now be flooded out. Without approval materials are being hauled in and stored on private property. With the help of local watershed officers and no support from the County Commissioners.
Landowners are now forced to defend their property from Watershed District appointed board members. As well as Local, State and Federal Governments. One of the main offenders in Minnesota is DNR. The Watershed boards have become nothing more than an arm of the State Agencies.
If this project moves forward, you will need to ask yourself if your property is safe. When your day comes, who will stand with you? Will you have enough money to fight against your own tax dollars and the government's resources?
The watershed districts board members are appointed by county commissioners. Though unelected, these members have taxing authority on your property. Some Counties have considered dismantling these boards, as watersheds have been accumulating millions in taxpayer dollars. The last time I checked the Red River Watershed Board had over $20 million in the bank. This is now a slush fund they are able to use to bully and outbid our neighbors, and we are seeing serious eminent domain issues arising from them.
We should all be willing to stand with our neighbors, especially as officials with minimal to no accountability act in a manner that is borderline corrupt. This is an eminent domain issue; this is an individual rights issue.
