It’s that time again! A is For is excited to announce that this year's Broadway Acts for Abortion (BAfA) will be on Sunday, October 1st at 6:30pm at 54 Below in NYC. In light of the escalating attacks on abortion rights, queer folks, and trans rights, this year’s theme is an embrace of the connections between us all: Bodily Autonomy for All.

BAfAis our biggest, annual fundraiser andbrings together the best of Broadway, karaoke, live auctions, surprise guests, while raising critical funds and awareness about reproductive justice. BAfA is the only Broadway community fundraiser dedicated to abortion rights. All proceeds from the event will benefit A is For’s stigma-busting programs ([link removed] Now more than ever, eradicating abortion stigma and defending this basic right are essential.

Hosted by Martha Plimpton and Jenn Lyon, this is going to be an unforgettable, star studded event, as we come together in solidarity and defiance, in support of abortion access.Past guests include Sara Bareilles, Betty Buckley, Deborah Cox, Patti LuPone, Howard McGillin, Javier Muñoz, and more. Our 2023 performers will be announced shortly.
