| We are living in strange times, John... Ted Cruz has not only one but TWO liberal opponents running to unseat him. Ted is a conservative leader with over a decade of experience and leadership. Senator Cruz is a man with integrity who does right by Texas and stands up for the Constitution. Opponent #1: Congressman Colin Allred. Here’s what concerns me: Allred is an extreme progressive Democrat who was able to raise $6.2 million dollars in just the first two months of his campaign - from out–of–state liberal elites and dark money Super PACs. If we can’t catch up to his unparalleled fundraising with dedicated grassroots supporters - we may just lose the entire Senate… Opponent #2: District Attorney Mark Gonzalez. A liberal District Attorney is coming after Ted Cruz. Mark Gonzalez is a soft on crime, progressive prosecutor and was even recently featured in Rolling Stone for his pro-abortion policies. Senator Cruz has fought off tough challenges from the extreme left before. This could be his most difficult yet.
