Want better schools? More affordable housing? A better future for your family? Then you must be counted in the 2020 census! We Count LA is a community coalition made up of dozens of organizations across LA County working hard every day to ensure that everyone is counted in the 2020 Census.
We all want the best for our communities and our families. The more people that complete their census form, the more money our neighborhoods will get for schools, hospitals and emergency services. It’s that simple.
Participating is easy, here’s how:

Starting on March 12th, the US Census Bureau will send everyone a mailing inviting us all to complete the census online.
- You will receive a unique and confidential code that will be associated with your household.
- With it, you will be able to visit the census website and access your census form on any computer, tablet or mobile device. It’s that simple!!

It is crucial that everyone in our communities is counted to get the resources we need for our schools, hospitals and other community services. We’re counting on you to participate!
