Salem, NH - Granite State Small Businessman and candidate for Governor Chuck Morse released the following statement regarding an illegal Mexican smuggler arrested in New Hampshire that came to our state via Vermont and our Northern Border:
"Recently, our state was jolted by the shocking discovery of an illegal Brazilian mass murderer who had been living among us. Concurrently, reports of drug and human smuggling operations along our northern border have raised serious alarm.
Let's be clear: the open-border policies under President Biden's administration have left us vulnerable to crime and the influx of dangerous narcotics. This is an undeniable fact, and it's time we acknowledge it.
While my opponent Joyce Craig supports sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants, I stand firmly against such policies and reject any notion of amnesty for individuals who break our laws to break into our country.
Our state deserves a leader who will take a strong approach to safeguarding our citizens, and as Governor, I'll make it a top priority.
