This is appalling but unfortunately not surprising. Schools across the country are falling victim to far-right policies that erase the truth of our nation’s history, at the expense of our communities and the education of our children. But there’s a solution:
This year alone, there are over 23,000 school board seats up for election. That’s over 23,000 chances to protect our schools and our children’s education against the far-right’s shameful revisionist tactics.
And that’s why Run for Something is actively working to recruit, train and elect young, diverse and progressive candidates for school board seats across the country.
