I'm Kate Magill, the Director of Litigation and Voter Protection here at the DCCC.

Fair, free, and secure elections are the cornerstone of our Democracy, but the GOP doesn't see it that way -- that’s where my team comes in.

Before I share more, I need to ask for your help. Our work is critical to taking back the House in 2024, and we're counting on you to put wind in Democrats' sails. Here are a few things my team does to protect the freedom to vote and empower voters:

– We challenge bad-faith actors working to suppress voter turnout. Just this year, we won a court case in Pennsylvania and preserved no-excuse vote by mail after Republicans tried to eliminate the popular voting method. Over 3 million Pennsylvanians voted by mail in the 2020 and 2022 elections.

– We work with partners to challenge gerrymandered maps and protect the voting power of marginalized communities. We're actively supporting litigation to strike down gerrymandered maps in states across the country -- if we succeed, NEW Democratic and competitive districts could be created nationwide. Litigation around existing congressional maps is ongoing in 13 states!

– We work around the clock to educate voters on when, where, and how they can vote in upcoming elections.

As someone who's worked in politics for a long time, I know first-hand how important a strong grassroots movement is to WINNING a House Majority. So when I say we can’t do this without your help, I wholeheartedly mean it.

Can I count on you to chip in $5? With Republicans trying every trick in the book to stop us, we can’t afford for anyone to sit on the sidelines.
