[1]Ayanna Pressley
Five years ago, the people of Massachusetts’ 7th District sent Ayanna to
Congress because they knew change couldn’t wait.
On September 4, 2018, Ayanna won the Democratic primary by a decisive 17
points, carried by a diverse movement of voters – many of whom were voting
for the first time or the first time in a long time.
Through people power, she won this competitive race and became the first
Black woman from Massachusetts elected to fight for progressive change in
the U.S. House of Representatives.
Since then, Ayanna has brought her bold advocacy and activist leadership
to Congress every day, fighting for the change our communities demand and
deserve, while standing up to Republicans and special interests who would
take our country backwards.
If we’re going to keep Ayanna in Congress to continue delivering more
progress for the MA 7th — from safe, affordable housing to more accessible
transit and reproductive freedom — we need to build the resources to run a
strong re-election campaign again this time around.

2018 was about the power of the people. It still is, and none of this
would be possible without your support and partnership.
Thank you,
