exciting brand new project powered by our best resource -- you!

California is facing a wave of disinformation. In local municipalities and
towns, extremist groups like Moms for Liberty are trying to spread
disinformation about education in our schools and force school boards to
pass terrible policies, including forcing teachers to out their trans
students. Anti-abortion organizations are pouring money into fake health
clinics that now outnumber reproductive care clinics, purposefully telling
lies like that abortion causes cancer and infertility. Fascist candidates
are distorting crime statistics in order to grow police departments and
make neighbors afraid of one other.

Our best weapon against these disinformation campaigns is reaching as many
Californians with the truth, and that’s where Uplift Courage comes in.

We are creating a team of our most savvy and active members (that's you!)
and providing the tools and training for you to become a social media
superstar, sharing with your networks and beyond videos, posts, and
graphics that let the public know just how damaging this disinformation
is. And then you’ll help keep people updated with important elections,
legislation, and other issues that you think they need to know about!

As a member of Uplift Courage, you’ll be part of an elite group where you
can connect with other people who care about progress in California as
much as you do. We’ll have a central Facebook page to chat and share,
you’ll be invited to social media trainings to up your viral game, and
you’ll be first to know about breaking news and initiatives coming out of
Courage California.

You can participate as much or as little as you want, and it should only
take a few minutes a week! We hope you’ll come aboard, and feel free to
