The number of Americans who are living
with Alzheimer's disease is growing fast. Over 6 million people in the
United States are living with this devastating disease, and that
number is expected to double by 2050.

What's even more alarming? The number
of deaths from Alzheimer's is growing, too. Here are the shocking
facts:

* Deaths from Alzheimer's disease increased 145% between 2000 and
2019.
* 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another form of
dementia.
* Alzheimer's kills more people than breast cancer and prostate
cancer combined.

promising new research and treatments.

In July, the Food and Drug
Administration approved Leqembi® for the treatment of early
Alzheimer's. By slowing progression of the disease when taken in the
early stages, this new drug can give individuals more time to
participate in daily life and live independently.

It's not a cure, and it's not for
everyone, but this treatment gives people living with early
Alzheimer's what they want most: more time. More time with their
families. More time doing the things they love. More time living on
their own terms.
