Hey John,

I just wanted to quickly reach out and say thank you for helping us hit our fundraising goal before last night’s filing deadline. Thanks to incredible supporters like you, we were able to make up for the August shortfall and position ourselves to kick the campaign into high gear this month.

But from here on out, I’ll need more support than ever before. The primary is just around the corner, and we’re entering an all-hands-on-deck phase of the campaign.

Adding more fuel to the fire is the fact that national Republicans are now pouring massive amounts of outside money into our race to influence Louisiana voters. They just launched a six-figure ad buy in media markets across the state.

We need to get to work countering their narrative, and fast. That’s why I have to ask for your support today, John.

Whether we like it or not, Louisiana voters will see the GOP’s ad attacking me, and it could affect the outcome of the primary. Will you chip in any amount to help expand our campaign’s reach and counter the GOP’s bogus narrative ASAP?
